Stella Van Der Klugt, holandesa de nascimento, brasileira por escolha e amor, psicanalista de profissão, artista de alma. Os quadros que pinta tem o azul-índigo do céu de verão, as músicas que escuta à luz de suas perfumadas velas são noturnas e suaves como o saxofone que ela estuda, com a voz de Ella Fitzgerald. Suas maiores paixões além da música e da pintura, são televisão e o Guga. Mas o que ela gosta MESMO é de estar cercada de gente amiga. Le soir on se réunis toutes pour un cocktail suivi d'un diner très élégant et très bien organisé.

When Claire and I arrived at the old building we were curious to what had happened. We had a message from the organizers not to go to the building because it was in ruins and we would be very disapointed. Well it wasn't that bad, but I did get tears in my eyes when I saw from the ground that my last room in high school had been through a fire .

I found an open window at the old theatre and after helping Claire up she handed me a chair I climbed in. It was exactly the same, I hadn't been there for almost 35 years. We started walking through the corridors and most of the doors were closed or blocked it felt spooky Claire kept a very low voice as if she was afraid to be caught, like when we were students. I got to see the bord with my name when I did the Cambridge Certificate, but the one with my Bacalaureat wasn´t there.

. When I'm cold, even now , I remember moments I passed huged to the radiateur between classes to get warm. The radiateur was still there! This is also the place I found Melanie when woken suddenly during an hypnosis session.The story about hypnosis is at the bottom of this page
The end of the School is sad. Sister Claire, the last headmaster and a Fidèle Compagne de Jesus,FCJ sister, couldn't bring any new teachers into Switzerland, new laws , new rules and foreigners couldn't come to work (rings a bell?),the nuns used to come from France or England to teach, and they were the best teachers. La Chassotte had one of the highest rates in succes at the Baccalauréat Français only for very few exceptions, most of the girls that did the highschool there would get their Bac and a place in the Sorbonne. Not beeing able to harvest her good teachers she found a buyer for the school and that was the begining of an awful end. The man who bought La Chassotte went broke and the school went to the UBS (Union de Banques Suisses) who rented it for 2 years to the Red Cross who used it for foreign asylum seakers, who partly distroyed the building. Now, there is an interest in destroying the building so the Commune de Givisier can build something else, to make sure that the building was condemned they asked the firemen of Fribourg to execute some fire exercises in the building. That is why "Le dortoir de Rosaire" is all black burned and broken, but still standing and as far as I know with no structural damage.
I understood when walking through some of the open corridors that the Orthodox Church is taking care of the Chapel and is the one that locked doors and windows protecting what is left of the building.

This was Claire's last day at La Chassotte, july 1973, her father had decided to change her school, she went to Mentzingen, a swiss german boarding school, near Zurich. She was very sad and I tried to tel her that "everything would be all right, and that we would always see each other" . I always remembered what she said that day : -" No Stella, things will never be the same again" -
